Default Off Road Bumper DIY

I'm looking for someone or somewhere I can get all the dimensions of the pieces to build your own off road bumper and weld it together any help is greatly appreciated. If I get all the info for the pieces I will have them all laser cut out and then I will do a wright up on building it

There have been a few on here that have done it.. if you have not done so already try doing a search, maybe one of the other threads will come up. i often thought of it myself but, for something like that i will most likely buy it from somewhere.

I would check out the show off your durango threads. I built my own but I don't remember where I put my sketches and such. I can look if you'd like.

I can't find my paper work

Here are some pictures. I had a local metal company cut out the front piece of metal and bend it to the shape I wanted. I spent a lot of time crunching numbers and test fitting cardboard moch ups. It was all made of 3/16" except the shackle mounts. The shackles are not attached to the bumper. They are made of two 3/8" plates with a 1/8" piece sandwiched in between so I could slide them over the frame and bolt them in place.

Thanks, a lot of hours went into it including help from friends and family. I gotta give them credit for the knowledge and labor.

I would sell you my old bumper except it has a large whole rusted through the drivers corner. I didn't realized how bad it was until one day my brother walked up and poked it, very lightly as if he was only meaning to point, and it all fell in there. That really kick started my project. Overall the cost is just around $400 plus I plan on putting on $200 worth of lights.
