Default Aftermarket headlights and fast blinkers

Hello - 2000 Durango --swapped out the stock headlights with some Spyder projector type . Since the new lights don't have 2 turn signal lamps now the turn signals blink double time. Can you help me with a solution? I did connect some LED's to the second turn signal connection but still have the fast blink. Must be a resistance issue but not sure how to resolve.
Thanks for the help.

You have 3 different options here.

1) Leave a regular bulb in the unused socket. The bulb in the headlights needs to be a regular too if this is the way you want to go.

2) Get load resistors that simulate having a regular bulb. This will require a bit of wiring.

3) Get a heavy duty flasher module. They're about $16 at your local auto parts store.

Can you tell me where the flasher module is located?

Up under the dash on the drivers side. The factory one should be green.
