P1389: No ASD Relay Output Voltage at PCM
Hey everyone,
I have a 2002 Durango with a 4.7 liter V8. The car originally just cranked over with a "nobus" error in the dash and fuel pump was not running. Tested all voltage (TPS, MAP, CMP, CKP) to determine if the PCM was bad.
Replaced the PCM. The fuel pump now comes on with the "nobus" error code gone, and the engine still just cranks over without starting.
Replaced the camshaft position and crankshaft position sensors, still to no avail. I have an OBD code P1389 which is "No ASD Relay Output Voltage at PCM". There is no label for the ASD relay in the Power Distribution Center, but I switched around all the relays which did not do the trick either.
Also, I have an aftermarket alarm system with a remote start, which is still fully functional (locks, unlocks, tries to start the car).
Anyone have any ideas?
