Default stalling

First time poster, long time browser of the forums. Used them more then a few times to work on my Durango.

Now I need some help, my 2003 4.7l Durango is stalling when it stops. Not everytime but more then enough to make me angry. The rpm's will start to fluctuate and then it dies. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I restart it with no problems and then it will run fine, hit another stop and it will do it all over again.

Could be the idle air control valve or possibly a weak battery/poor connections.

do what "that_guy" recommends plus a tune up.

If none of these resolves your issue, Peform the procedure on how to obtain any error codes from your PCM to help troubleshoot.

If no codes, it is possible the PCM may need to be reflashed to resolve the idle issue.
