Lets Talk Tires
I too run cooper disocver AT/R tires. 265/75/16 is the tire size. I got them for free new but I would have gone with bridgestone duelers or whatever they are called. However I do want to try the goodyear dura trac tires as they seem to fit what I need/use the Durango for.
45k ain't too bad. That'd last me 10 years..
I have a 2012 ram and it'll need new tires in about 20k miles. It has 8k on the truck now.. Goodyear tires from the factory

Sometime in the summer i had to get new tires. I got Firestone Destination LE2 good tire, quite ride etc. Not sure how they will do for winter weather. To me they look like a car tire. Wanted Destination AT but need now not 2weeks later. Size p265/70r16
My original Good Years lasted 50,000 miles. Since I do a 5-tire rotation, that equates to 40,000 per tire. I hated the ride and they were awful in the ice and snow.
My next set were Toyo - I don't remember the exact model, but they were AT and all season. The ride was harder but grip in the wet and in winter was better. These lasted about 75,000 miles (60,000 per tire).
Based on the Tire Rack reviews, I next wanted the General Grabber AT but could not get them in the size I wanted. So I bought Michellin LTX and love them. The ride is softer than the Toyo but grip especially in the wet or ice and snow is far better - this is important since I live in Minnesota.
The Michellin's are expensive but I believe worth it. For cheaper, I would suggest the General Grabber AT

Les Schwab Wildcat A/T. Do you guys on in the midwest/east coast have Les Schwab? As for the tire I like it but don't have a lot of experience with others, and haven't had the chance to test the snow capabilities yet. What did you all pay for a set all said and done? My set was $950 for 31x10.50 r15
