i'm changing my crappy 2 dome light overhead console into real good one with homelink and mpg one and will this harness work??

I would assume so.. I mean all is needed is just wire to plug everything in.

Is there a specific reason why you want the MPG feature and homelink??

Personally I never used the MPG feature. Altho the direction function (N,S,E,W) is nice. The homelink.. I use that for my garage door whenever I do drive my Durango but I wouldn't go as far as installing the unit just to have that feature.

01-03's already have that exact harness stuffed in the headliner from the factory... its all plug and play.

 

Doesn't get any easier than that, now does it?
