engine swap now coil malfunctions
My bet is from that amount of weight coming down on the flywheel and crank, the crank is likely pushed a bit towards the front of the engine. It's a full tear down and rebuild process for you at this point if the crank is pushed forward. One way to tell is get under and take a close, close look at the harmonic balancer and it's location and inspect for "new" clean metal where everything else is dirty around where the crank comes through the block. Maybe also use your old 4.7 as a reference to where the crank should be.
Not saying this is for sure the case, it's just what it sounds like to me, and gives you somewhere to start

If it's too hard to tell that way, another thing you could try is take the starter out, paint the gear teeth on it with washable paint, reinstall and do a couple quick turns to mark the spot on the teeth. Take the starter back out and examine for abnormalities in the alignment of the starter and flywheel
