Still running cold
I know they changed the radiator setup slightly for 2000, but I never used any special tool to take mine off. I just used an old serpentine belt to hold the waterpump pulley and a big *** crescent wrench to break the nut loose.
Well if the temp sensor is reading wrong, and my motor actually is at temp, then the low heater output could be addressed elsewhere. I will take the clutch off and go from there.
I'm typing on my phone and its annoying, this forum isn't phone friendly lol

Get the right sized wrench and hit it with a rubber mallet while having someone put tension on the belt using a wrench on the tensioner. or if you have access to an air hammer, thats how the tech's do it a the dealership I work at.
Was able to flush out my heater core today. I didn't seem to get much crap out of it, but it helped my heater considerably. I still feel like my engine temp isn't as high as it should be, but as long a so have heat I don't care.
I should rephrase that. I thought my low temp was causing my heater issues, turns out it wasn't, therefore it might not be running as cold as I think. IF it is stilll running cold, I don't know where to look next. I removed te clutch fan like i planned, that made no difference.
