Numbered, it has 130, 210 and 260 I think on it

 

And i would guess it sits right about 170. I put cardboard in too

 

This is where my gauge sits at normally with a 180° thermostat. I have a probe in the upper radiator hose for my fan controller and it confirms that my temperature sits between 178° and 185° depending on conditions.

 

Hmm. I would say mine sits slightly above that with 195 stat. Maybe I was just over paranoid. I always based it off my ram I had before, which had the same style gauge and always ran rock solid around 200 I would guess, according to the gauge.

 

I'm pretty sure this was with the stock 190° thermostat in mine, but I'm not positive

 

How is the heat coming out of the heater vent?

 

Not sure if you meant me or appel, but mine's plenty hot. I can't keep it up all the way or I wind up in a sauna, I usually keep the **** straight up and down to maintain a comfortable temperature.

 

That must be nice, I have to have mine all the way to get luke warm air, there's the next project..........

 

^My heat is fine now too, after I flushed the heater core.

 

Mine was fine, for a couple of weeks. Happens every time I flush it, eventually my heater core gets a bunch of air in it.
