Default 1998 Dodge Durango 360

can someone help well turn over but not fire shot Ether an intake still nothing replaced coil, coil pick up in distributor now what. ran fine the day before and I have bought a crank sensor but have not done it yet the motor does turn over but does not runit sounds like it wants to but it doesn't

It sounds like you're not getting spark then. An easy and free thing to check first would be the battery connections, if they get dirty or corroded (corrosion can be clear too) it can mess with the computer. The next thing would be the crankshaft position sensor.

Going to replace the crank sensor today keep your fingers crossed hope the hell it ain't a computer

Well cousin is working on my Durango he has got smaller hands I'm stuck at work 45 minutes later he got the old crank sensor out he says it looks burnt now going to try to put the new one in my stomach is in knots because I'm not there and I can't afford a new computer I don't think I can never priced them yet

Well they put the new crank sensor and and whents to star but the battery is almost dead could that be a problem battery is weak so if I charge the battery do you think it has a chance to start correctly charge

A weak battery can cause all kinds of problems such as not starting. Even if you charge it and get it started, the battery probably won't last long.

I understand what you're getting at I was not there but they did the job they tried to jump it with the truck wife said it sounds like it wanted to start but there wasn't enough juice to keep it up it is extremely cold in West Virginia right now 10 degrees12 degrees there was some corrosion on the the durango terminals I'm hoping against hope that's the problem right now I hope I don't need a computer I don't know where to get one relatively cheap and high quality

Bad battery connections or a bad battery could be causing issues. Clean the terminals first, but the battery might be toast.
