Default 2 new issues under my Durango.

Hey guys, I have two new issues with my durango. First off, I had driven my D up on some railroad ties so as I could get underneath it to trace an exhaust leak, But I found this instead. The front of my transmission plate is pealed back, and I can see gear. There's no trace of any fluid there, except some oil from somewhere. I'm going to post some pictures of that.

I also while I was down there, found oil around my frond passenger drive shaft between the diff and hub, and it's fresh golden oil.

In the same area, I found antifreeze dripping, I tried to trace the oil and antifreeze, but to no prevail.

I'll keep posting as I get into it, but now I'm out of a job as I wait for my application an the local Sheriff's Office to go through, so I'm only making it on Side jobs and cash labor work. So I'm concerned that I may have to cash in my losses, and use it to buy another vehicle.

That's your flexplate you can see there. I'd guess someone had it off at one point and didn't put it back on properly. They do get bent up sometimes when taking them off. You'd know if you hit something that tore it up like that. The antifreeze is probably coming from one of the freeze plugs on the back of the block.

The freeze plugs do leak coolant from the back of the engine, like That guy had said. Are you seeing fresh oil leaking from the engine? Because the oil on the side of the engine maybe from changing the filter or the oil pressure switch.

Yeah, it's torn too, I have no idea what happened. What will it take to fix that. And shouldn't their be fluids in there?

I'll check the freeze plugs again, but I haven't noticed it. And the oil is all over the axle, and their appears to be splatter all around that side from underneath. Where's the closest oil at besides the filter, it is cleaner then a whistle, changed it not too long ago, and didn't notice either of my problems.

Just bend the plate back into place and put a new bolt on it (make sure it doesn't rub anything when you bend it back into place). There shouldn't be any fluid inside there.

I got the oil on my fingers, and it's fresh and dripping from somewhere, I just don't know where. I took dawn and water and scrubbed everything clean of oil and muck, so when I drive it next, I'll try to trace the new stuff. But I haven't screwed with the oil pressure switch, and it's not from the filter.
