Went to the dealership to see what type of differential I got equipped. They managed to look up the vehicle history by VIN#. It was purchased from a dealership brand new in NY....either way, it's a 3.55.

On another note, I went to the dealership primarily for factory lug nuts....$7 each

With that I got requried info and left. I can probably find a better deal online don't really need them that much and the lug nuts I have will do the job for now. Only went because I was going back to the tire place for a retorque after installing two new fronts and getting them aligned.

What are these diffs made out of? Aluminium or Iron? Because I was thinking if they were aluminium from the factory I was gonna ask for an iron alternative.

Front diff housing is aluminum, rear diff housing is iron. There is no Iron alternative unless you want to do a solid axle swap.
