New after-market lights
I just installed front headlights on my 2002 Durango and they have a gap on the top.
not really impressed, although they look better than stock.
Would anyone have any ideas on what I can put in there to fill the gap or any other suggestions?
Thanks
Steve

no I have not aimed them.
a few have mentioned weather stripping - do you mean automotive or just the foam type?
thx steve
Steve100.....just find something to fill the gap. The material should not matter. However, I bet the gap will be less objectionable once you aim them.
Your headlights similar to what I have, and after aiming them, the "gap" seems fine. I attribute it to the shape not being 100% OEM. Then again a black gap on a black D does not show up as bad.

There is also usually some slop in the mounting points, so if you loosen the 3 bolts that hold the headlight on a bit you might be able to move it around a bit and close the gap some. Aftermarket lights aren't perfect though obviously.
I have been wanting to replace my OEM headlights since they really are becoming ineffective.
