Default Burning a Quart of oil ev every month

I have a 1999 Durango 5.9, A/C, Automatic Trans.
I have owned from day one, all 210k miles.
I have always had to check the oil, use to burn off a quart every 2 or 3 months.
No smoke, smell, no drip spots or sign of any kind (still till this post).
Now with it's mileage it is every month or so I have to add a quart, I use either Full or Part Synthetic.
Any ideas on how I can slow the burn down?
Thanks for any input!

How many miles? Look down into the intake manifold and see if there is oil pooled in there.

Around 210k.
Thanks for the reply will look at intake manifold as soon as I can and update the post.
if there is oil pooling, what does that indicate?

I meant how many miles before it burns the oil. Oil pooled in the intake would suggest the plenum gasket is leaking and needs replaced.

I would estimate 1k or a bit less on average.
but it is a lot of city driving, stop and go.
I have a computer/phone business and do the majority of work onsite with my clients.
I also have equipment in the truck, computers and peripherals, cable, etc. quite often and have a lot of tools in the truck all of the time, so carry extra weight at all times.

I'm going to watch this tread pretty close. I've been putting in about 2 1/2 quarts about every 1K I guess. About every 6 weeks I've had to do this. I drained everything and switched to 10W-30 synthetic. Made no difference. I drained everything again when I was low on the stick again. Took the oil filter off and drained it and refilled with regular high-mileage oil. I'm checking it weekly now The truck has 219K and is our daily driver so it gets lots of use both highway and in-town.

If there isn't anything dripping externally the first place I'd look at is the intake plenum. If you take the airhat off and look down in the throttle body you'd see puddled oil. Keep in mind there might be some oily residue coming from the crankcase breather that you don't want to confuse with the plenum leaking.
