Don't hole me to this 100% but I'm pretty sure that's the TV cable and not the cruise control cable.

Well that wasn't the problem although with research that does cause problems like I'm having. I put the part on today and drove it but after about 5 minutes of driving the same issues started up again. I guess my next try will be the output sensor on the transmission and another tps.

You do realize that tv cable needs to be adjusted properly and not just attached or your trans wont shift up and down at the right times.

I adjusted it the best I could. The truck runs fine and shifts properly now but almost like clockwork as soon as it's up to temp the problems start again. I've tested it 3x now and it's always right about the time the temp gauge stops going up the problems start. I'm not sure if it's the temp or the distance but it starts to slip or w/e it's doing right then.
