Default Driver's Panel Won't Power Windows

Over the past several months I've had maybe one window (drivers side rear) that wouldn't go up. I'd mess with it an eventually it would. Last night both front windows were down and they wouldn't go up. The drivers panel doesn't work on ANY of the windows and NONE of the individual panels worked. So I let it set for about 5 minutes. Went to get a flashlight and check fuses and all the sudden I was able to get the windows up with no problem. Today, I went to a class and had the windows down. When I got on campus, they wouldn't go up. NONE of the windows would work. The driver's console DOES function with the door locks with no problem. There's something in all the windows now that is a problem. Where should I start looking?

Update: I replaced the silver relay for the power windows. That made no difference.

Check the connector on the drivers door panel. If it is loose that could be the issue because all the switches run through that. Thats how you child lock works is cutting the power to them.

I pulled the harness from the plug several times and plugged it back in. I didn't see any pins or holes that were misshapen.

It's work, but you could find out for sure if it's motors/channels or wiring. Pull the door panels, disco the power connector from each motor, then energize them manually with jumpers to power.

How could one motor going out cause all of them to fail to function?

Never know until you start testing.

You've been banging away at this with no results for a while. I'm suggesting use a very methodical approach to isolate the problem. You're past looking for a shortcut.

An area with high wire stretching and bending is where the wires run into the drivers door. It wouldn't hurt to resistance test the wires to make sure that they aren't breaking internally.
