Yeah, I loved the look of mine, but if you look closely at them you can see the issue with them. This isn't something drop in bulbs would really fix either, you'd need to completely replace the optics of the tails to get around this.

At one point I did see a version of these where the ram's head was higher up so it didn't block the light as much, but I haven't been able to find those again.

Most of the top section (turn signals) here is behind the cover.

You can see how the most of the light from the top half of the tails is blocked by the covers in this picture.

Yep, that's pretty much what I saw last night. :/
Thanks for posting thoughts and pics.

My heads shipped out today. Should be here in the next week. Guess I'll start tearing the engine down. I have my trusty Chilton Manual in hand and downloded the Factory Service Manual. I've read through half of the old threads (so far) and still reading anything that pertains to this 4.7L engine. Hopefully, I am prepared. Feel free to post any helps, tips, tricks, etc...

Well, things have not been going well. Lost my housing because landlord didn't pay his bills. Car got put on hold and I was homeless for awhile. Thank God for good friends!!! Got a new place and internet back online. Time to get back to work on the D. Sucks to walk 3 1/2 miles to work in the rain.
