OK, for this 2" lift.... does anyone have a good shock that will not break the bank and allow for a 2-5" lift ????
Trying not to buy new hocks now and then again in the spring when I complete the lift....

But you will with 5in. of lift. Rancho makes some shocks that are for 3in. of lift, they should work. But how are you putting in 5in of suspension lift?

Not needed, but if you want a longer shock, call a 4 Wheel Parts, they have a pretty good cross-reference database that will give a good part # for the amount of lift.

I took advantage of a buy 3 get 1 free sale on Pro Comp ES3000 shocks for my Grand Cherokee when I did my 2" BB on it (and yes, off-road I'd bottom out the stock length shocks). They gave me a part # for 2" longer shocks and I've had some pretty good articulation and stayed well within the shocks range. Not a bad ride on and off road for a shock made by Tenneco (owner of Monroe & Rancho) that I only had about $27 in per shock after the sale price.

BTW, body lift will have no effect on shock length, only suspension changes do. And don't forget to have an alignment done after changing suspension geometry with the level...

If you go back to the first few pages of this topic they explain everything 2 or 3 times.

My question to anyone that has done this is when in the front cranking on the T-bars are we screwing the bolt IN all the way or out I got confused...

You turn it in to apply more torque (twist) to the arms.
