Default Pcm

I have a 2000 durango rt 4x4. I am trying to see if my pcm is bad. Does anyone know what ohms I should get at the pcm at pins for the ideal air control vavle?

Testing resistance won't help you. If you are getting the P0505 code, test for voltage on the IAC connector. You should see 12 volts on two of the wires. If you don't, test the wires. If the wires are good, replace the PCM.

I have a 2000 California 5.9 and keep getting 0505. I have voltage (12.2v) on 3 of the 4 leads. However only 2 of them oscillate from 12 to 0 while the the third never gets down to zero volts. I will be putting in a new battery as I am sure the 12.2 volts ain't really enuf juice. Then I can fix this wire I hope. Then its time for the 25 mile drive at 45 mph, parking her for 8 hours, then getting to the smog shop before the pcm throws the yellow light on the dash back on. Perhaps Monday I will be able to get this vehicle smogged and registered. I love clean air but I sure hate seeing a good truck which is not a gross polluter being incapacitated with all of this crap. A real pain in my butt. Sigh...
