Default Issues lots of issues.

Hi I all long time reader of the furom frist time poster.

I hoping someone can point me to where I can fix my Durango.

So here is what I have
99 Durango 5.2
I have no idea what the tranny is but this was a label I found on the side
521181552694501A3B2.

Here is my issue.
The tranny, I think..
When you drive the truck after about 10 mins of driving it slides in to 1st gear, about 2 mins after that it goes in to netual.
If you turn off the truck wait about 5 mins start her back up she again runs for 10 means before this starts again.
That's the main issue.
So what have I done.
Changed the output speed sensor.
Changed the netual switch senor.
Changed the tranny fuild changed the filter.
Same thing.
Went and got a new ecm ( well not new but same model and all that jazz) which I honestly thinking it's bad.
Cleaned all the wiring every connector I could find.
Has no check engine lights no tranny lights ( like a no bus or such)
Does have an ABS light.
When I got it about a week ago. The shifter was totally off so I used the trumb screw and alighted it up.
Here is the other issue no matter how much I alighted it running through the gear down to 1st then up to parks messes up the alightment again.
Reverse sounds bad but if I mess with the screw and put in reverse again it sounds fine.
Now here is the other issues kinda.
This tranny was swapped out with a rebuild because the same issues slipping in to netual and such happen with the frist tranny two. Which leads me to find it's electrical not the tranny itself.
Can anyone help me out I'm kinda banging my head here the only other thing I can think of it's changing the tcc and the gov sensor in the pan.

Anyone got any ideas?

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi your my last hope!

I come up with nothing on the part number. Re-check that please.

Likely the bushing in the shift linkage are shot, so it won't maintain alignment. If you aren't hitting the detent for the proper gear, that may be a significant part of the problem. I would check/fix that first......

Yes follow what he said. Also check the wiring at all of your trans sensor plugs. Those can cause some odd issues but not shifting out of gear. And if you have a 5.2 then your trans is a 44re

It's "... you're my ONLY hope..." Durango Forum doesn't tolerate botched movie quotes.
