Default 99/2000 Durango low idle issues.

hi just wondering if someone could help me out. 2000 Durango having low idle issue while in park and in gear. Code reader said it's misfiring in cylinder#2,#3,#4. Previously Replaced distributor cap and rotor and new plugs. Then started getting misfire

Recheck your plug wires, make sure firing order is correct.

Did you gap your new plugs?

Wires are good, my buddy who looked at it checked the resistance on the misfiring cylinders they are good. The gap on the new plugs is pretty close to what it calls for, within a few thousand. Once we did that it ran better for like 15 mins. Then it's back to rough idle. We did manage to get cylinder #2 to not misfire. Now it's #3 and #4 to figure out

Swap back in the old cap and rotor, see if that's the culprit.

Durango wouldn't start at one point and it I was because of the cap and rotor. Rotor tip was melted on the old one .

where the cap and rotor new? how long were they sitting on the shelf before you put them on? iv had it where i got old stock wires that were arcing everywhere and causing serious misfire issues.

Default Idle, misfire, stall, and refusal to start

The other day my 99 5.2 was running fine but later in the day I noticed a hesitation in 1st gear.. After shifting out (sometimes I did have to flutter the gas to force shift it but that is once in a blue moon) it was fine.. I pulled up to a red light and it stalled and started back up but died almost immediately and had yet to start back up.. It had been misfiring on a few cylinders but it sometimes threw those codes and sometimes it didn't.. Well on this day it didn't have any engine codes thrown but instead just bit the dust... I'm decent with diy but I'm not too good with diagnosing engine problems but I've been told it's possibly out of time or it could be the crankshaft position sensor which could make it act like it's been thrown out of time.. I've replaced the ignition coil which went out in April cuz I was forced to drive through flood waters so I replaced it under warranty so it was free anyway.. The contact was slighty corroded but was not the problem.. So now I'm trying to figure out what's wrong without breaking my broke self even more.. Any suggestions would but greatly appreciated..
