Durango engine swap...
Will a 360CI engine work with my 318CI transmission? Need an engine swap done BUT the 360ci comes with a bad transmission but my 318 tranny still works good.

The 44re behind the 318 isn't quite as strong as the 46re behind the 360. It would probably work for a long time if you didn't beat on it. I think the 360 has a balanced flexplate or converter that you'd need to use.

So nothing else has to be done for instance none of the motor mounts need to be changed or anything to put this 360CI engine in the 318CI bay?

It will work, the 44 and 46 are basically the same trans with a few "upgrades" in the 46. You will however need to use the 318's flex plate and torque converter.

You mean he needs to use the 360 flex plate, right? He's putting in the 360 in place of the 318.
