Shaking feeling
I'm having a rough time determining why my 98 5.9 Durango has a shaking feeling. I've replaced plugs, wires, disruptor cap and needle. Ignition coil also. Can't figure it out. Check engine light isn't on either. Changed radiator at beginning of summer but I kept checking for leaks for a month just to make sure it wasn't leaking. No loss of power or gear slippage. Its a constant vibrating feeling. Weither in idle or driving. Please help my pride won't let me take it to a shop.

Does it get worse when you put it in gear? Does it get really bad when it shifts into O/D, and TCC locks? (feels like the truck is going to shake apart....)
May wanna check the plenum...... Pull the air filter housing off the throttle body, crack the throttle wide open (engine off.....) and have a look. (bright flashlight needed as well.) See if you see wet oil in there.

Are you driving it every day, meaning the truck is fully functional to you as is? If there is no urgency, I'd buy a ELM327 unit off eBay and the 'Torque' App for your smartphone or tablet and get some live readouts from the sensors as you drive, do some research. You can drive down the road and monitor fuel/air ratios, water temps, O2 readings, all real time. On which ELM327, get the larger ones, the smaller cheaper little stubby ones don't do the Bluetooth as well/quickly as the larger.
I've had issues in the past and was able to get a lot better feel for the truck's operation with these tools. I even bought a 2nd ELM327 for my Jeep. I was off-road in Silverton CO and got a check engine light deep in the bush. I popped in the ELM (keep it in the console) and my phone and was able to see that the CEL was because the MAP sensor was pissed that I was at 13,300' altitude, no problem.
