Default Aftermarket CV Axle

2003 4.7 4x4, 3.55, looking to do a 3" torsion/leaf lift. I understand that increasing the angles of the axles in the front is a bad deal and will decrease life. Im already looking at Moog upper and lower control arms, will do new torsion bars, shocks etc... are there any CV axles in the aftermarket that are built "beefier" to alleviate this problem, or will I need to go custom?

I've never seen any off the shelf upgraded cv axles.

Yeah, but, changing them on the trail is a real drag.

I'm a long time off-road Jeeper with a well built rig, so I have some experience in this. First you have to decide which problem (that you don't really have yet) that you are trying to prevent. Your 'decreased life' phrase means you fear the part will just wear out faster. Needing a 'fix on the trail' is only due to either a crap happens obstacle, or you skipping preventative maintenance and not replacing a worn part when discovered in the garage. In this case, I'd do what was said above. Just use it and watch it.

If you really want to never see a CV break, swap in a solid axle.
