What size tension band clamps for heater hose & heater core?

The trick with the screw clamps is, don't torque 'em down like they are hold a wheel on. They need to be snug, not tight. I have replaced the spring clamps with screw clamps on more occasions than I can count, and never had an issue, simply because I don't torque them down with an impact wrench.
