Ill check into it again but theres nothing there, from under the dash to the trans theres nothing to take it apart. No bumps ***** nothing its smooth

 

The cable that goes from your shifter down to the trans is inside that black plastic/metal sleeve.
I've had my sleeve rust away in one spot before. Then the cable would pop out of the sleeve and the shifter didn't work right. Look everywhere on the sleeve and see if there's a hole maybe???
