Default 2001 dodge durango need desperate help

2001 dodge durango, battery went bad and now the starter wont crank. Checked fuses, dont know what to do. Thanks

Far from an expert, but what engine are you working with and was the battery replaced?

Battery was replaced and all fuses checked. Starter worked fine before battery devoloped a bad cell

Is the security icon flashing on the dash? There is a downloadable Service Manual in the DIY section...check that and look at the security section 8q...good place to start...

Are you getting power to any accessories? Lights, radio etc? Have you checked the grounds? Sorry trying to figure out where to start...no pun intended lol

Everthing works on it except the starter, used self diagnosis thats comes up on odometer and no codes. All grounds and fuses checked.

Any clicking sounds from the starter as if the solenoid is trying to engage?

Swap the relay in the underhood fuse box. Check the lid for the placement...
