Figured it out, but have no clue how to fix it, when you put it in park in says its in reverse and if you get it in reverse or drive doesnt go all the way in.

Beat me to it did you find the manual download?

Depending on the transmission type there are adjustments that can be made to the cable.
Btw, HeyYou is one of the really good guru's here on the board he's helped me a ton!

Starts it neutral and park if i go underneath and put it there manually. Used the diagrams to try and adjust it. It wont adjust, its either to much or what i already have. I think its time for a new one. But ive been wrong before

Honestly dont know, popped of tranny hard and when i put it back on it snapped on hard, didnt check the one at the shifter

Thats what i was wondering, dodge says its under the brake booster, but nothing there only one i can find is under the dash. So im wondering if someone changed it before

I think you can take apart that big plastic cylinder in the shift cable in the engine bay. I think jurgens had a video of it in his restoration thread.
