Default Tail lights

Hello everybody. I have a question! Imagine that rite lol. 2001 durango 4x4 with the 4.7 at 228000 miles.i was following my wife the other day and when she hit the brakes only the drivers side tail lights worked , next stoplight same thing we get where we were going and all worked again. I have had several people tell me that they don't work on the passenger side but when I go investigating they all are working I have replaced both rear lights and still ssme thing . Any any insight is greatly appreciated.

Check the grounds. Intermittent problems are always such fun....

Yeah, sounds like a bad connection somewhere.

I had this problem with my '02 and it about drove me nuts. Sometimes the driver's turn signal would not work..replaced bulbs and all, sometime it would work, sometimes it would not. Finally just went to I think, Oreilly's auto parts and got a new housing...you know the actual tail light housing that the bulbs go into. It was made by an aftermarket company but looked just like the factory one. It was less than 50 bucks. No problems at all since and it works great! You might want to give that a try.
