anyone have any tips getting this thing lined up with the trans i have a hoist and leveler just cant get it right any help would be great.

 

Need to be able to support the trans as well. angle it up a bit, so the engine will meet it square, let the dowel pins hold it together, and get a couple bolts started, remove whatever you have supporting the trans, then lower the engine onto the mounts. Should be able to bolt things back together from there.

 

the trans has mounts from the frame that it bolts to to keep it in place so no need to support it with anything else im just gonna wait till this afternoon pretty sure my brother in-law and i can get it finished thanks for the tips though
