Default 2001 Durango 4.7L Electrical Question

Hey all,

Still digging into the electrical gremlins on my '01 Durango. I've been trying to chase down the injector circuit and ran across the following:

Circuit diagram from service manual pg 8W-30-13

I have been checking the Power Distribution Center (Service Manual Page 8W-10-2) and I cannot find the 20a Fuse U referenced in the above pic....

HELP!

Thanks,

Steve

Not 100% sure but that is on my list to check. Strange it specifically says 20a U, F/L 11 if memory serves is a 30a.

On the trucks, there is also a fuse up by the battery, inline style..... Maybe it's that one?

Fuses check out...checked all injectors for shorts and all injector pulse legs for shorts to ground...nada. I can see injector "pulse" with a test light to the DG/OR wire while cranking. The pulse looked "weak" on the oscilloscope while back probing...I'm at a loss here.

Any guru's want to chime in?

Thanks

Steve

the fuse labeled o2 directly above the fuse labeled "G" happens to connect the same circuits referenced in the wire diagram, i would start with that one. (u4 and u8)

Well I figured the mystery out...the timing kit had the wrong JTEC timing wheel! I compared the donor motor to the kit and found it was 100% fubar...swapped the gear from the donor motor to the installed engine and she fired right up...2 MAJOR lessons learned...

1. ALWAYS keep the parts you take off to compare 100% with the parts your intending to replace with.

2. READ THE 1 * REVIEWS on the product you are purchasing! Had I done so I would have found this:

Thanks everyone for the help.
