If the system works like I expect, injectors are powered via the ASD relay, not from the PCM. PCM controls ground side of the circuit to fire the injectors. If your noid lite wasn't flashing with the engine running, then you either don't have power there, or, the pcm isn't able to control the ground, for whatever reason. As you replaced the PCM, I don't think that is the problem.

I have looked through ALLData to find an answer, the ASD relay is not located where is should be. According to ALLData it's in the fuse box under the hood near the battery, and there is no such labeled relay or fuse located there. I'm going to download the wire schematics and trace both wires back to its home. Also I was thinking if the crankshaft position sensor was just a little wrong, enough to throw off the pcm but not enough to pull a code, what do you think?

I doubt it's the crank sensor. If it is just one injector that isn't firing, it's either the wiring, or the PCM itself.

You are right, last night I took off the fuel rail and switched out injector one and now the code clears although it came back. Maybe I bought some bad injectois I don't know, however I'm replacing the other now. On another note it seems like I can hear the down stroke coming from my valve cover, as if a valve is stuck and I can see and hear a backfire from cylinder 1 coming from the injector hole. I'm thinking this has been my problem, going to verify soon. Thanks for all your help so far, couldn't have done it with out you.

Yes, I used a test light and ohm meter to confirm, then I just plugged in another old injector and held it, I could feel it firing. But the backfire coming out, do you think I could have skipped a tooth on my chain? I'm taking off the valve cover now to see anything new.

I think that would affect more than just one cylinder......

Good news everyone it was a broken valve spring on cylinder 1, so all my problems was from that, who would have guessed. I'm off to damn nearly rebuild this thing now with all I have to replace as a result. Any idea how often a timing chain should be replaced? Or the oil pump? I figured while I was all up in there I would replace them if needed. Thanks again.

How many miles on it? If you are in six digits, and you are going to be RIGHT THERE in any event, Change 'em. Less things to worry about later.
