Default 2000 5.9rt tranny to a 2002 5.9 engine will it work

My engine and tranny both went bad on me I have a 2000 durango
5.9 rt with a 46 re tranny. I've found another working 46re from a 2000
5.9 rt and an engine from a 2002 5.9 L. Will they work together in my 1st
Gen durango. I'm in a wheelchair on a fixed income and can't afford to toss money for nothing

For the trans, so long as they both come from trucks with the same number of drive wheels, they will interchange. Engines will interchange regardless.

2000 saw some electrical changeovers, so you may or may not need to swap over the range sensor of memory serves. I can't remember if the flexplate or converter is what's got balancing weights on the 5.9.
