Default 02 durango 4.7 heating up to 3/4 at idle

The temp is normal infact it stays right under half for most normal driving but the second i stop it very slowly creeps to 3/4 and i haven't managed to get it past that point. Im pretty sure my electric fan doesn't work but my clutch fan works fine and im starting to question the thermostat but idk if it would cause this. Any ideas?

If it maintains correct temp while you are moving, but, starts heating up at idle, that is an efficiency problem. Not the thermostat. I don't know if the electric fan is supposed to assist in cooling when the truck isn't moving, or, if it's just for when A/C is on. Might be a partially clogged radiator, worn water pump.... Probably other things as well.
