Default Turbo-ing 4.7 motor (theoretically)

I only looked for a couple minutes and couldn't find a thread on this, vut, theoretically, if someone were to turbocharge a stock 4.7, non-HO, what would be some things to know beforehand? I'm fairly new to the automotive world, and therefore don't know a lot, so really, I just need help researching it, and would appreciate info on, specifically, how to research things like this. As always, thank you in advance, and some questions below.
  • Is it even feasible?
  • what's the max boost you could run?
  • Are the rods/block/heads even strong enough to handle boost?
  • Do the stock heads even have enough airflow?
  • How big of injectors would you have to run?
  • I remember reading that there's something weird with the cam, would that take a toll on anything? And would you need more lift?
  • There's not a lot of headers in the first place, is there someone that makes just a header "flange" of sorts, so you could custom make one?

Feasible? Yep.
You could likely run 6 or7 pounds of boost without doing anything to the motor. (mechanically)
Probably.
Head flow is irrelevant when it comes to boost.
Not sure on injectors, but, you would indeed need larger ones, or, additional ones....
I don't think the cams would be an issue.
Might have to buy a cheap (yeah, right....) set of shorties, just for the flange.

Keep in mind though, that there will be electronic changes required as well. MAP sensor that can read boost, and a custom tune for the PCM to account for the additional airflow. Dyno Tune once ya have it running would be best.

Not an inexpensive project though. Lots of fabrication/custom work involved.
