Default Fast Blinker only when Braking

All blinkers work. Brake lights work. However, when brakes are applied and I turn the driver side blinker on, the driver side blinker blinks fast (as if bulb is out) on both the front and rear. Passenger side works as intended without issue.

Specifically, when the driver side turn signal is on and the brakes are on, the driver side blinker light and brake light alternate on-off really fast, and both get dim while alternating on-off. On the passenger side, the brake light remains on while the passenger blinker blinks at normal rate (which is how it is supposed to work).

All bulbs are fine. I swapped the bulbs from the driver side taillight assembly to the passenger one and the issue remains on the driver side.

I see a lot of blinker issues on the forum but didn't find any citing a blinker issue only when braking. I thought someone might know before I get in too deep.

Thanks.

You have a bad connection, or bad ground on the drivers side lights.

Issue was resolved by simply cleaning out the connector. Probably had some bad contact up in one of the pins, scraped them out with a pick.

It's always nice when you don't have to replace parts!
