Default Blowing Smoke - 2000 Dodge Durango Sport

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango Sport - V8 - 4.7L, Gas - 168,000 miles with some issues. - Took it out for a test drive after sitting 4 months and was at a stop sign when a gave it gas a large puff of black smoke came from the exhaust only 1 time and stopped. The next day I started it and now whitish smoke comes out the exhaust the longer it runs. The vehicle has never over heated, its not loosing coolant and shows no error codes. It starts, idles and runs like it should. I have done a radiator pressure test and a Combustion Leak test at the radiator and it held pressure and showed no exhaust in the coolant. I have removed the thermostat and flushed the coolant, and changed the oil and filter. It is not losing coolant, when I changed the oil it was was not milky or had water in it.

Any ideas???

If it sat for a while, how much gas was in it at the time? The alcohol in the gas will absorb moisture right out of the air..... it's possible that just driving it for a while, (and gassing up....) will take care of it.

Hopefully it's just the old gas... but it sounds like you may have worn valve stem seals and sitting that long probably dried them out as well. Keep an eye on your oil level till you resolve it.
