Default 1998 SLT air conditioning only blows when engine is off

So I recently had to replace the heater core in my 98 Durango due to it leaking heavily. This process involved taking the entire dash off and pulling the air conditioning box out.

After replacing the core, and putting everything back together, the truck turns on and runs great, but now my air only blows when the engine is turned off. I had cold/hot air before replacing the leaking core, but now it will not blow at all while the truck is running. But as soon as I turn the key off, air starts blowing through the vents.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Does the blower motor run with engine running? If you have a vacuum problem, it *should* default to the defrost vents...
