Default Speedometer not reading / mileage not going up

Abs light is on - speedo not reading a speed - mileage counter not going up - brake light is on, on dash.

Just recently replaced the speed sensor in the picture (I did this on recommendation for the 'wrong shift out of first' problem, and it fixed that)

Headed to the orielly's to see if the engine light codes will guide me in a direction, but also picking the brains here.

Thanks again!

VSS issues. The year of your vehicle determines where it is at. On 97 and older, it will be in the output tailhousing of the trans or t-case (depending on 2, or 4 wheel drive.) if 98 or newer, vehicle speed signal comes from the sensor on top of the rear differential.

Use Mopar or oem sensors if you can. Aftermarket ones are such a crapshoot these days and can have you chasing more problems.
