Default Rear differential fill location?

I need to put in some of the LSD additive in the rear differential and I wanted to be sure that I am using the right location to add the fluid. Looking at the rear diff cover about 2/3's of the way down on the right hand side there is a rubber plug, I'm assuming this is where you fill the diff and check the fluid level?

Also on a side note does anyone know what the correct gear oil is for the rear diff just in case?

Thanks

75w-90 multipupose gear oil. I recommend " REDLINE 75w-90" weight gear oil, and the Dodge rear axil additive for limited slip rear diff's.

Go completely Full Synthetic. Dodge rear axle additive. And yes you got the right filler location. I thought we used 80-90W tho.[sm=feedback.gif]

I read in my owners manual that the gear oil was 75w-90. And REDLINE High Performance gear oil is fully synthetic.

Thanks for clearing that up Digitoxin. Red line is good but I prefer Mobil 1.

i was under the impression that if the gear oil was a gl-5 rating or higher that the LSD additive wasn't needed. could someone please verify this?? whttp://www.klotzlube.com/tech/KL-508.pdf

this is the fluid i was thinking about using.

That stuff is crap. You need the additive. Go with Mobil-1 75w-90 with additive.
