Default Power issue

My 2001 4.7 4wd Durango just lost all electricity, i went to start it and it barely made a noise and then all power to everything was gone, when i turn my ignition i cant even roll up my windows. Next items listed all newer than 3 months...battery, cables, connectors, and alternator, ECM maybe 6 months ago. I have no clue whats going on any advice???? Orielly tested my battery, said it was good and mentioned maybe the ignition??? Thoughts please as i am not a mechanic by any means, im in a new town using a new mechanic so im a little leary and would like to show up Monday after its looked at with something in my head. Thank you

Gotta be a bad connection somewhere. I would start at the battery clamps/cables.....Those need to be CLEAN, and making good contact.

Everything is brand new from the alternator to the battery cables, post connecters, all connections are clean and shining just like they were when i bought em...all power disappeared when i turned over the key, when i first started turning the key i had power and then mid crank power to everything disappeared.

Yep, that's a bad connection. Generally the problem is AT the battery. Generally......

Does power just go away, and not come back if you turn the key off?

Hi there eh, my 99 5.2 ghosted me a while ago at 447 K kms on the ODO eh New battery new alternator all within a 6 month period. No issues at all. Till fall and bad sloppy hiway mountain trip to Alberta, my new home. Seems , when i turned on my rear wiper. The motor seized ( original unit) Now as I discovered after going bald... Dodge tech wizards, in their infinite wisdom of simple common wiring. Ran the power for the wiper through the interior dome lights. With the motor seized the circuit was left closed and day time I didnt notice the dome lights (all 3) were one They are very dim at best all original too. So they drew down to nothing a new high reserve CCA battery eh. Took to the wiring schematic hunting obvious tests down to now availe. Then I noticed the dome lights flickering with a chargerd battery hooked up. MAybe not your problem? Maybe not how a 4.9 is set up? Thought I'd throw it at you eh Good luck, Remember, Live Large eh
