Default a/c not working

Hi new to me 2003 Durango RT.. Just finished doing the plenum gasket job. What a dirty B of a job. Somehow one of the paper towels I used to block the ports while I was cleaning was still in there! Luckily I was able to fish it out with some chopsticks....

Anyways the a/c on this thing isn't working. The PO said it did last year and it does have a new compressor and was filled in April 2023, condenser replaced August 2023. Is it a leak? Blend door actuators?

Need to put some gauges on it, and see what pressures are. If you didn't open the system during the course of your work, and it worked previously to said work, then it may be as simple as something didn't get plugged back in.

it hasn't worked for me. I just bought it a week ago. When I turn on the a/c the electric fan does come on. When I change the heat from hot to cold it doesn't change much in the cabin

I was wondering how to check that... I noticed that the rpms don't change when I turn it on so I was thinking it might not be turning on. Maybe a fuse or relay?

Open the hood, start the engine, put it on max a/c, see if the compressor cycles..... If it doesn't, time to check pressures.

ok sounds like I have a leak in the system if it's gone less than 2 years since being filled

Could all well be. Finding it is the fun part.

On my truck, after spending 600 bucks or more, my a/c still only works for a couple days..... Evap core is leaking.....

I have a buddy with a shop that can pressure test it for me. I'll probably do that
