ok, you said hold the brake pedal, you should NOT be able to spin the tires by hand, i knew that part, but when you said "just pump 'em up, and then foot off the pedal. See what happens." do i need 2 people to do this? one person pumping on the brake and the other turning the tire? you said "and then foot off the pedal." are you saying after pumping the brakes to let the pedal up, than check how the tire spins? with no pressure in the brakes pedal? thanks

No, you can do it by yourself. If the caliper is sticking, for whatever reason, that's not gonna change in the few seconds it takes for you to get out, and walk to the tire.

I like the 'easy' tests.

ok, i got the front end if the car up in the air, first i rolled the tires and the were not stuck, then i did what you said, "pumping up the breaks, and then turning the tires" the both spin what i think is normal, the only thing is that there is a small sound kinda like tin gliding, but so very minimal. i wasn't sure if i was suppose to have the engine running when pumping the brakes. i am clueless what the deal is. never had anything like it happening before. thank you

You won't be able to. At least, you hadn't better be able to.

Try this.... Go for a drive..... hear anything odd? Find a road that doesn't have a lot of traffic..... (good luck....) run the truck up to about 25-30mph, and then change lanes, HARD. Hear anything interesting?

sounds like the fact that i can turn the tires when the break is on is not a good thing? i think i will try again, just to make sure. when this all started, i started to listening for anything, i turned off the radio, and both air conditioners, i didnt hear anything abnormal.

Default Walnut!! Lol!!!

well, first before i took the jacks down, i crawled underneath and looked for anything wrong and i pulled and tugged everything there was, the calipers were stable and everything else look good. so then i took the jacks down and took it for a ride as you suggested, i drove 35-45 mph and jerk the car to the other lane, it handled perfect. i did this alot, faster 7& more extreme, also i hit the breaks more harsher each time, the first & only time, it felt like a bump, but all the other many times, perfect, feels good, sounds good. ya know you might think it sounds a little nutty but im talking about walnuts, sooo many walnuts & squirrels, mice even snakes lived in my car for many years, im still trying to get the walnuts out, the ones in the fender are hard to get out and are still there, the first sign of a problem with my car was when i was backing out of my car spot and it felt like i hit or ran over something, i stopped and looked under the car and saw nothing, then the break or what ever the issue is or was started, i have worked enough on the older cars to know how simple they were. but i never had car do what mine did. all i can think of for an explanation is a WALNUT. LOL. So at this point, i am considering my car without fault. im gonna keep an eye out looking for any issues. but at this point, it runs well, thank you for your help, maybe that changing lane abruptly or anyone of the other things you said to do, i did that could have fixed it too. i will let you all know if i have any issues, I know you helped me to fix it. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
