Default Electrical nightmare under steering column

Hello all....well here is my nightmare...I currently own a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT 5.9l v8 magnum, it's been a nightmare since I bought it! I've pretty much rebuilt the engine myself, only to have the damn thing shut down completely! In the beginning my reverse light was out replaced it, stays on all the time, then many months later it died, replaced the computer, many months ago by, shuts down again, have replaced everything known to man, only to have it trace back to electrical...I removed the underside of the steering column cause my speedometer still doesn't work even with the new computer, oh mind u it throws up NO CODES, And what did I find?? A BLOODY JUMPER NIGHTMARE!!! They have jumped and cut almost every wire known to man, connected them to relays and even added fuses to boot!! Pics enclosed...please please I'm begging anyone to please tell me what the heck is going on...it used to start, idled fine, then shut off when I put it into gear, now it doesn't do anything! Welcome to my nightmare of a Durango!!! I'm about to blow this heat up if I don't get some clear answers on if I should replace the wire cluster or junk it! Thank you for all your responses in advance!

I think that's my security box but both sets of wired are cut, red and black, grey and red

Oh man, someone butchered that harness....... You are going to need an accurate wiring diagram, and get rid of all the extraneous BS.

Real curious what they had in mind there...... An alarm system that was installed, and then removed??? Ouchie....

Your telling me...this is what I've been dealing with for the past week...do you know where I can get any diagrams?? I've looked everywhere and I can only find some...or would it be better to just buy a new harness??

If you can find another harness, that would likely be the fastest way to get thru it....... and also likely less troubles in the future.....

You should be able to find wiring diagrams here, as well. Or, buy a copy of the service manual for your truck, which will also have wiring diagrams.
