Good job on the stroker though. Some people with there Big trucks need to be left in that big mud hole for it to sink in that there truck can't follow a lighter smaller vehicle. But I like pulling them out anyway and telling them how stupid the are.

 

Wherever u mount it, make sure to get a good ground and check your standing wave ratio to get max output from your radio and max radio life. If u go off road far away from everything, you might even want to slap a linear amp in your glove box or under ur seat.

 

I installed a through the glass antennae on the windshield an it works just fine. I'm sure a solid line would be better, but for the average driver its a good way to go.

 

I've got a Wilson's 3 foot magnetic mount on the Durango's roof. Ran the coax cable underneath the front rack, inside the rack side rail, under the door's weatherstrip to the dash under the climate controls. I leave the mount when I don't use the CB.

 

what kind of antenna and mount? where would I get one....... Kind of new to this. I have a window mount on back side window, reception is terrible.
