Default CB Antenna Mount?

I'd like to mount a 102" whip CB antenna on the rear bumper of my 00 Durango, but there doesn't seem to be any metak under the bumper. Ideas?

They have the bolt on kits, have you tried that?

What do you mean by bolt on kits? I'm not real big on drilling into my roof, but I don't really have a problem drilling into my plastic bumper.

Not really sure if your bumper will hold that large of an antenna. Have you looked at the magnetic mounts? Just bought one the other day, it's a cobra antenna with a magnetic mount, I'll get pics on here when the CB comes in.

You can also buy a hood mount that goes between the hood and the firewall if you don't mind having it on the front. They bolt down with 4 small metal screws.

The redneck ain't going away . Just got back from the woods, my Durango is covered from top to bottom with mud. I was out-crawling a Ford F250 FX4 with a Powerstroke Diesel V8. He just couldn't keep up with my "little suv", as he put it. Before we hit the trail, he was asling me if I was sure if I could make it - 30 minutes into the climb, I was thinking I was going to have to pull him out.

Do you have any more info on that hood mount?
