Default MagnaFlow, FlowMaster

I am thinking to get MagnaFlow(#12589) for my 99 durango-5.9L. My other choice is FlowMaster. Could someone tell me how they are different? People say FlowMaster is too noisy, but my 86 camaro-z28 is a making pretty comfortable sound with FlowMaster(but I don't know which model is). I don't want to make my durango too lould, but I would be very disappointed if I get too quiet sound.
I need a little advice.
thanks

Borla and Magnaflow are the best in quality.

I just put Magnaflow on my Durango and very disappointed. I feel no difference between Magna and OEM in terms of sound and power. I didn't expect FlowMaster's sound, but it's just too quiet no matter how hard I put my feet on the pedal. My friend also noticed no difference. I think I will get rid of Magna and get FlowMaster. I don't know why so many people say good things about MagnaFlow, I now hate it.

I just relized that local muffler shop (JBA racing san diego) put a wrong muffler. I ordered Magnaflow, but what they installed was actually a "Dynomax". I don't know if they did it purposely because I don't speak good English that some how make me a car illiterate. Now I'm going to have to storm them tomorrow.

I've had both on my Durango. The FM was the 50 delta flow. The FM was louder across the board but the Magnaflow is much deeper sounding. I prefer Magnaflow.

I had a Flowmaster installed on my 04 Limited Hemi yesterday.Sound is a little loud, but the note it emits is awesome..I have two pipes coming off of the muffler that exit just behind the rear tires. The tips are SS with two square outlets angled outward. It looks like chrome wings from behind...

Now I got Magnaflow. It sure is smooth, but is too quiet to me. I wanted to enjoy comfortable V8 sound, but it sounds like Japanese sports compact. I really like my camaro's flowmaster sound. I think I will get flowmaster.

I put a flowmaster 40 on my 2000 4.7 durango with custom pipe work from a local shop,
Exterior note is amazing, but the interior tone is a little loud on the highway because the muffler is mounted below the middle of the truck. I would still say that it was worth the money to upgrade though.
