MPG?
I have a 2000 D 5.9L getting an average of 10 mpg. What is everyone else getting as far as mpg? Please include engine size & year. Should I be getting a better average than this? I drive on the freeway and in the city pretty equally.
I've gotten up to 17.42 MPG @ 45 MPH before but I had my trans locked in tow.
In the city I get an average of 12.2 MPG and Hyw is 14.4 @ 70 MPH. If I go up to 80 I drop to 11.5 MPG.
I'm doing a study right now on a trip @ 100 miles HWY @ 75-80 MPH in cruze and will update. Update: I got 13.96 MPG
I have the 392 gears in my truck. In the Eco on my on board computer I average 13.2 it says.
I run 32X10.50 LT 15 tires.

That sux, after those mods, you lost mpg's? I thought you would at least gain some or remain the same? Unless you have other mods you did not mention?
