Hi,

I've just had the entire engine rebuilt of my 99 5.9l D...runs great now and (finally) the overheating has been solved.

However they didn't replace the cracked and torn plastic strip that covers the gap between the front of the engine bay and the radiator - I guess its there to stop air recirculating under the bonnet and back in through the radiator. Check out the photo in the attachment.

Does anyone know the part number for this...it looks so untidy compared to the rest of it...

You are going to have to get that part directly from Dodge. Just go in there and ask for you part.

 

Not sure if that part is available...I cant find it in the parts cataloge.
