I m from canada and my 2000 R/T is equipped with oem daytime running light. The problem is that even if my key is off, the high beams stays on. The only way to turn them off isto disconnect the DRL module..... I dont really need it but my high beam indicator doesnt work anymore....anyone can help ? I dont wanna spend 130 $ for a new drl module,

Maybe it is the multi-function lever.

First off Welcome.

Your problem might be in your switch. Check it first.

Interesting to see a Durango with daytime running lights. I first thought they would use the lower driving lights as daytime running lights instead of the main headlights.

I've never seen a Durango with day time running lamps. Sounds like an after market system. I would ask a dealer (give them the VIN#) if it was on the truck when it was sold because I don't think so.

While I don't know what the problem is (switch?), I can confirm the D has DTRs in Canada. Canadian law has required them for a few years. In the US, they are still an option. Personally, they take away from one of the advantages a motorcycle had, a headlight on during the day. The more there are DTRs the less likely one is to notice. Thus, lessons the effectiveness overall. DTRs = diminishing returns.

Being a rider I know of that. It sucks. I didn't know that Canada has them standered. Can you get one to hook up to our rides (OEM)?
